"Found these guys on Yelp, and let me just say to both, "Thanks!" I called many Honda mechanics, who refused to service hybrids. Acura Honda Connection had both the knowledge and the mechanics to do so. They changed my oil for $10 less than the dealer's price, and they quoted me $600 for the next major service, which Honda quoted at $1200. Hello?!? They even broke it all down for me, with line by line details and prices. Consider me a new, loyal customer, who will sing your praises to all other Acura and Honda owners."

"I held off on writing this because they have gotten so much business from Yelp I didn't want to make them forget about me! :) But they will be my go to for the life of my Honda!!!
its an ACURA/ HONDA shop - not a Isuzu, not a Toyota and not BMW. Go get your own freakin technicians man.

"As someone who is also in the auto repair industry, I can appreciate what these guys do.
My best friend had some major issues with a relatively new 2005 Honda Civic EX with only 42,xxx miles on it. We decided on this place when I gave up trying to diagnose her problem... my best guess was a blown head gasket... but I refused to believe it because of the low mileage and the fact that it's a Honda. Jonas and his crew confirmed it and, with some discussion, decided we needed to go after much more than just the head gasket. My friend and I met this with some reservation and decided to just take the car. Jonas decided not to charge us for the diagnostic also, which went a loooooong way towards his credibility (in a very positive way). He was very honest and professional and I would HIGHLY recommend Acura Honda Connection for any major repairs anyone may need for their Honda vehicle."

"One day my oil light came on while I was driving so I pulled off into a parking lot to see whats up. I found that the car was spewing oil! Luckily I wasn't far from home and when I got back I called the Acura Honda Connection up based off of the positive reviews I found here.
When I called I was immediately very pleased at the friendliness and willingness to communicate what he thought was wrong and how they would go about working on the car. He suspected that one of the seals (crank and/or harmonic balancer had been dislodged). At no point did I get the sense that he was in a hurry or gloss over details. I was most impressed. I was actually thinking I was going to call around, but I was so pleased with the phone call I decided to go with them.
For my situation, the car had about 160k miles and had an early timing belt change so it was time for this service anyway. So what they did was the timing belt replacement service and since they needed to open up that part of the engine, they could easily inspect and replace what was needed to in order to fix the oil leakage. What this meant for me was saving a lot of labor costs and only having to pay a bit more for just the cost of the new seals.
When they had the engine open they noticed leaking cam seals as well and recommended that I also replace those. This was actually something forgot about. Another mechanic (from another shop) in the past had said that these would eventually need to be done. So since the engine was already open the cost wasn't much more.
I really appreciated their free loaner car service. It was very convenient and made not having my car not such a big deal.
In conclusion I had a very positive experience with the guys at Acura Honda Connection. I found them to be very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. I've actually at some point in time interfaced with 3 of the main guys at the shop and I found this to be true of all of them.
Next time I have an issue with any Honda car. I know where I'm going to take it. "

"A couple years ago, my 1997 Acura Integra was rear ended on the highway so I decided to head over to Honda Acura Connection for a quote. They are located in an industrial area in downtown san jose near the HP Pavilion. There I met the owners Joe and Jonas and they quickly assessed the damages and provided me with a quote. Talking to Jonas, I felt that he was very knowledgeable in cars, and cared about his customers. This was enough to earn my business.
I spoke to them about doing a front/rear bumper conversion to make my car look like the 98-01 models and they were all for it since they were also in the business of rebuilding and selling used and salvaged titled cars. We worked out a deal to make this happen. So now I'm without a car, but wait Jonas and Joe provided free rental car from their lot. They gave me an older model integra for the duration of the repair. COOL!
The turn around time took over 1 month, but well worth it. The came out looking awesome. The paint job matched up fine, and no orange peel look at all. They gave it a nice detail and I took it home. Very happy customer!
I returned to Acura Honda Connection a couple months later because I had a huge dent on my front driver fender. Joe scheduled his dent guy to do a paintless removal for me. On arrival, they hooked me up with a free rental. A couple hours later, the dent was gone."

Honest car mechanics??!! Absolutely!
"I took my car here last week to get some work done with the brakes, etc. After many calls to find the best prices, my co-worker and I dropped our cars off to James and his technicians. They did a complete inspection and made some great referrals without trying to gouge us with the extras. Prices were extremely fair and their turnaround time was fast!
Extra points for the FREE car rental and for washing/vacuuming our cars. Thanks guys!!!!"

"I procrastinated getting my car maintained because I hate trying to find a good mechanic I can trust. I decided to go to Yelp for some direction. Sure enough it led me to a good place!
After they did the preliminary maintenance, they called me about some issues they found during their inspection. I was thinking oh great (w/ sarcasm), he listed these things to me and I was afraid of being scammed, so I let Jonas fix some items on the list of issues, because I was iffy on whether or not I trusted him.
When I came to pick the car up, I just wanted to pay and leave. But Jonas took the time to explain several things to me and also showed the parts that were faulty. After he did that I realized he wasn't scamming me. He showed me the dirty air filter and this broken mount and explained how it can affect my car.
As I was driving out of the place, I felt my car was DRAMATICALLY better. There is more ease in acceleration and braking. Usually, whenever I get my car fixed, it doesn't seem much has changed, but I do notice the quality of how the engine runs after bringing it to AH Connection.
In addition, they cleaned my car, vacuumed, and even repaired some upholstery that was lacking some adhesive at no additional cost. They even replaced the rear braking light without telling me, only when I mentioned how much it would cost to fix my cracked rear light housing, did he mentioned they replaced it. How nice!
I am going back there again to get the other issues I was iffy trusting them about. They have sure got my trust in dealing with my car!"
